Willie Clancy Festival for traditional Irish music fans

The Willie Clancy Festival has been running since 1973. Set up in memory of Willie Clancy, a piper from Clare, the festival and its summer school attracts people from all over the world.

It takes place in Milltown Malbay and you could stay in our County Clare property, the very special Loop Head Lightkeeper’s House.

Whether you want to learn some traditional Irish music and dancing or simply enjoy the talent of the musicians while sipping a pint of Guinness or even walking along the street – informal sessions tend to pop up everywhere! – the festival is truly an event worth experiencing.

This year’s dates are 5-13 July 2014.

There will be plenty of ‘craic agus ceol’ (fun and music) as we say in Irish.
