In Ireland we are fortunate to have a rich heritage from literature, art and the built environment to natural resources that can be enjoyed via stunning walks and drives. We have a top quality food and drinks industry. As the tourist season is officially open we thought that over the next few newsletters (and on the website) we would explore some of the different jewels to be enjoyed on our island.
This month, we are going to look at our delicious food sector and some gems you can enjoy close to our properties. The Industrial Revolution passed Ireland by resulting in us having some of the cleanest soil in Europe. This leads to very high quality produce such as grass fed beef, mountain lamb and dairy products.
All around the country we have food trails, food fairs and festivals, award winning restaurants and, of course, many pubs to enjoy some traditional or contemporary Irish ‘craic.’
