Annaghmore Schoolhouse Annaghmore, Co. Sligo.
Annaghmore Schoolhouse is a 19th century building and is said to have been the school for the estate tenants children. Built in the 1860’s, it is an attractive rural building picturesquely located by the Ownemore River and surrounded by mature woodland.
Wicklow Head Lighthouse, Dunbur Head, Co. Wicklow.
Wild, romantic and famous five all in one. We loved it! We range in age, from seventy five years to one year old, and everyone had a ball. A fantastic and unique place to stay. Unbelievable views, superb walks, lots to do in and around Wicklow.
The Drum Gatelodge, Bushmills, Co. Antrim
This has been a wonderful trip..some of the most spectacular scenery we have ever seen... then home to the Drum for good books, good wine, and good food..no doubt we will be returning in the not too distant future.
Salterbridge Gatelodge, Co.Waterford
A place to remain engraved in our memories for years to come. Peace comes dropping slow in this idyllic setting. No better spot to relax.
Termon House, Co. Donegal
Get the weather on the short-wave radio, and see it rolling in. Fantastic. Terrific house, great atmosphere and lots of character. Bliss, pure unadulterated bliss
No. 25 Eustace Street, Dublin City Centre
Incredible 18th Century home! Perfect for our family. Loved the no TV. Loved the "Temple Bar", the horse and carriages, and Trinity College. Hope to return to 25 Eustace Street again.
Loop Head Lightkeepers House, Co.Clare
Had a wonderful few days in Loop Head. The house is warm, cosy and welcoming. The reading room proved very popular and we had some lovely cliff walks. We look forward to another visit. An altogether relaxing weekend.
Galley Head Lightkeepers' Houses, West Cork
And then suddenly it was white, as white as if a window had opened on to a blanket of snow. A belt of light crossed the landscape in a giant arc, washing brightness over the road.. we saw her Galley Head, her huge burning bulbs in the distance guiding us home.
Clomantagh Castle, Co.Kilkenny.
What a place - a little bit of the old world, but with Central Heating! If there's a ghost here, it's very welcoming. Lovely gathering of friends in a calm, peaceful atmosphere. We'll be back.
Blackhead Lightkeepers' Houses, Co.Antrim
A wonderful place - love the morning sun from the bedroom window - didn't even have to get out of bed to see the wonderful sunrise. I am sad to leave this beautiful place.
Barbican Gatelodge, Co. Antrim
Tremendous time we have been to all continents and more countries than we can remember, and The Barbican is without doubt one of the most magical places we have ever stayed in. It is a calm oasis and great retreat.. it has been the highlight of our trip.
Ballealy Cottage, Co.Antrim
Wonderful house in a lovely part of the world. Edwardian charm and comfort on the shores on Lough Neagh, hope to return again soon to the magic and mystery of Ballealy cottage.
Annes Grove Gatelodge, Co.Cork
What more can I say, Annes Grove is an inspiration and a wonderful slice of Victorian living. My favourite features have to be the magnificent trefoil windows in the livingroom, the winding spiral staircase, and the wonderful gate which I took pleasure in locking and unlocking each day.
